Africa-Press – Eritrea. The 15th Eritrean National Cycling Championship 2025 concluded today on the streets of Asmara, with 168 elite and U-23 cyclists competing. The race covered a total distance of 185.5 km and included 17 professional cyclists. The event was broadcast live on Eritrean Television and Radio Dimtsi Hafash.

Nahom Zeray, a member of the JCL Ukyo Team of Japan, was crowned champion of the National Cycling Championship 2025, completing the race in 4 hours, 12 minutes, and 59 seconds. Meron Teshome (individual) and Natnael Tesfatsion, a member of the Movistar Team, took second and third place respectively.

In the U-23 category, Yoel Habteab from the Bike Aid Team won the race with a time of 4 hours, 13 minutes, and 20 seconds, followed by Robel Habtemariam from Debub Team and Daniom Fitsumbrhan from ASBECO Club, who secured second and third place respectively.

Medals and monetary awards were presented to the winners, and certificates of recognition were awarded to various institutions that contributed to the successful implementation of the event.
