Africa-Press – Eritrea. A new seven-kilometer dirt road connecting Halhale with Emni-Tselim and Abune Butsu’amlak in the Dubarwa Sub-Zone was inaugurated on 20 January. The road was constructed by Project Adi-Halo with the participation of the residents in the areas.
Eng. Daniel Gitmatsion, Head of Engineering of Project Adi-Halo, said that the road, which was constructed with strong machinery support, is part of ongoing efforts to ensure social welfare in remote areas of the country. He also commended the contribution of the Emni-Tselim Development Committee in the implementation of the project and called for regular follow-up to ensure its sustainability.
Members of the Emni-Tselim committees and representatives of the villages of Adi-Hizbai and Adi-Nekua’e, commending the meticulous work carried out by Project Adi-Halo, expressed their conviction to strengthen participation in similar future development projects.
Emni-Tselim is located about 8 kilometers southwest of Dubarwa town and is home to over 1,800 residents.
