Africa-Press – Eritrea. Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, Chairman of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students, conducted a seminar for youth workers in Afabet on 7 December focusing on the role of youth in the nation-building process.
Mr. Saleh, highlighting the role of Eritrean youth in various stages of the country’s history—including during the struggle for national independence, safeguarding national sovereignty, as well as in the nation-building process—said that a country with conscious and organized youth has a bright future. He also expressed confidence that the youth workers will play an active role in the implementation of future programs.
Mr. Ahmed Mohammed-Nur Rejib, Administrator of the sub-zone, noting the timeliness of the seminar, called on the youth to make a committed contribution to the implementation of the set-out development programs.
