Africa-Press – Eritrea. Intel’s share price fell around 3.15% after US President Donald Trump’s demand that its CEO resign.
“The CEO of INTEL is highly CONFLICTED and must resign, immediately,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “There is no other solution to this problem,” he said.
Trump’s demand follows concerns about Lip-Bu Tan’s reported investments in Chinese semiconductor firms allegedly linked to the Chinese Communist Party and People’s Liberation Army.
After Trump’s message on social media, shares of Intel dropped to $19.75 at 1543GMT.
