The International Relations Subcommittee of the Interministerial Commission, responsible for organizing the 17th United States of America-Africa Business Summit, presented, this Tuesday, in Luanda, the Terms of Reference for the event, which will take place from 22 to 25 June this year. In this context, the International Relations Subcommittee of the Interministerial Commission summoned all African ambassadors accredited in Angola, to also focus on the preparation of the United States of America-Africa Business Summit, according to a press release from MIREX.The event was presided over by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities, Domingos Viera Lopes, in his capacity as Coordinator of the Subcommittee on International Relations.

The presentation of the Terms of Reference for the 17th US-Africa Business Summit was carried out by the Secretary of State for Commerce and Services, Augusta Fortes, in the presence of the Secretary of State for Social Communication, Nuno dos Anjos Caldas Albino.

The 17th US-Africa Business Summit is a high-level initiative promoted by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Angola, the host country and current chair of the African Union, in the year that marks the 50th anniversary of national independence.

The event aims to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the United States of America and African countries, as well as to promote economic integration, innovation and shared prosperity.
