Africa-Press – Eritrea. WhatsApp is a very convenient messaging application that is growing by the day, letting users exchange links and send messages, photos, documents, audio and videos.
The platform also allows users to share their location whether live or current.
Sharing current location means the user shares his or her specific location at a particular time, whereas in live location there is continuous location sharing, even when the venue or location changes.
The location-sharing feature is end-to-end encrypted which means the data is not stored anywhere on WhatsApp servers. This cannot be viewed, tampered with, used or monitored by anyone else.
