Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini Ladies Pool National Team Captain Ncobile Dlamini is thriving in South Africa (SA), where she settled since the All Africa Blackball Championships last April.

Ahead of a tournament she and other emaSwati will feature, the Mpumalanga Blackball Association, which she has represented well in the recent South African National This is according to the rankings table that was shared by Eswatini Cue Sports Association (ECSA) President Muntu Dlamini on Wednesday afternoon. Dlamini, fondly known as S’ncobesh in the game, is part of the Mpumalanga Blackball Association Ranking Tour which started last month until February next year.

Depending on her performance, she could be one of the players in the SA National Championships 2023/24 who could move from Johannesburg to Durban, Sun Coast Casino. She is sitting on third in the female top 10 rankings table with 276 points. Ahead of her at the summit is Marina Jacobs, who has 338 points, while on second is Madeleine Olivier on 326 points. In the men’s top 10 rankings, Way Inn Pool Team star Nathi ‘Bhubesi’ Sihlongonyane who is also a member of the Mpumalanga association and played in the SA Nationals 2022/23 recently, appears on fifth with 228 points.

The leading player is Mandi Mente who has accumulated 288 points. Both players are part of the ongoing tour. ECSA President Dlamini congratulated the players and said they were good ambassadors of Eswatini pool. He said more emaSwati including national team player Nandipha Mkhwanazi, who is also a member were set to join and all member entrants must have paid up the E200 entry fee by September 30, this year. Late entry is an additional E100. Others to join are men’s national team stars in Sithembiso ‘Dodge’ Matsebula and Zweli ‘Siziba’ Dlamini. These will soon also represent the country in the upcoming All Africa Blackball Championships 2023 and Hawley Cup billed for Gauteng, Johannesburg in October.
