LATE INYANGA’S HOME DAMAGED BY HAILSTORM

Africa-Press – Eswatini. A late inyanga, Tiyabusa Tinyanga KaNgwane Bhembe’s home, was one of the homes damaged by the hailstorm in the late afternoon.

Bhanyaza Bhembe who is the late inyanga’s son disclosed that the windows of all the houses at his family home, which is geographically located at Timbutini had their windows damaged by the heavy hailstorm which hit that area and also Bhudla, both in the Manzini Region under the Mafutseni Constituency.

“Almost all of the cars in the family compound were damaged by the hailstorm and also windows of all the houses were not spared. Even the roofings of the houses were damaged too,” said Bhembe in an interview with Eswatini News. Moreover, Bhembe disclosed that this tragedy happened at a time when a coffin of one of their family members had arrived from Dups Funeral in Manzini. “We were preparing to bury our family member tomorrow (today) morning and we were planning to have a night vigil in preparation. Now the house that had housed the coffin has no windows and is flooded,” disclosed Bhembe.

Affected

Meanwhile, Lucky Ginindza who was at the homestead to pay his last respects, disclosed that it is not only the Bhembe homestead that has been affected by the hailstorm. “Over six homes from both Timbutini and KaBhudla have had their houses’ windows damaged by the hailstorm,” said Ginindza. Meanwhile, Bhembe appealed to emaSwati to assist their families as they try to rebuild, what has been damaged by the storm.
