Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini through Acting PM Thulisile Dladla has unleashed senior police officers armed with pistols to stop a SwaziMed Board meeting and a Press Conference that was meant to hold removed Chairman Sammy Dlamini and suspended Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Peter ‘Samora’ Simelane accountable amid alleged looting of millions of public funds within the country’s largest medical scheme.

The police officers led by Hhohho Regional Operations Officer(ROO) Superintendent Jabulani Madlopha labelled the meeting “illegal” and stopped the Press Conference.

It is alleged that, the suspended SwaziMed CEO has been colluding with those in power in the looting of the public funds and, together with the removed Chairman Sammy Dlamini, they subsequently ran to Cabinet to evade accountability.
