Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini allegedly told his Deputy Thuli Dladla to shut-up, the DPM was intervening amid ‘fight’ that erupted between the PM and Education Minister Owen Nxumalo on Tuesday during a Cabinet meeting.
The Education and Training Minister was repeatedly told by the PM to go out but, he refused accusing the Prime Minister of bullying them as Cabinet Ministers.
But information leaked suggests that, the fight erupted after Information, Communications and Technology(ICT) Minister Savannah Maziya questioned the PM who refused to approve a minute authorizing her to travel with King Mswati to Japan.
The Prime Minister responded with arrogance against the ICT Minister and it was then that, Education Minister became emotional and blasted the PM resulting to Russell Dlamini telling him to “get out of the Cabinet meeting”.
Deputy Government Spokesperson Thabile Mdluli declined to comment about the matter.
On another note, the PM is alleged to have threatened to reshuffle Cabinet and fire Education Minister Owen Nxumalo and others who are loyal to DPM Thuli Dladla.
It is alleged that, there are factions within Cabinet, other Ministers are loyal to DPM Thuli Dladla.
