Africa-Press – Eswatini. Football supporters will hugely benefit from His Majesty King Mswati III 57th Birthday Commemoration to be held at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium on Friday (April 25, 2025).
This comes after the installation of seats or chairs at the venue. Football supporters who will be attending football matches will enjoy seating in chairs that have been installed at the venue. The first to benefit are MTN Premier League log leaders Nsingizini Hotspurs against Manzini Sea Birds supporters. The two sides will clash on Saturday at the venue with the match to start at 3pm.
Chairman have ben enacted at the venue as part of the King Birthday Celebrations that is hosted by the Shiselweni Region. There are not permanents seats at the venue and fans had to seat uncomfortably in cement, but thanks to the King’s Birthday celebration, they will enjoy until end of the season seating comfortably.
Nsingizini Hotspurs are hoping for a victory to maintain their lead as they are top of the table with 48 points while Royal Leopard who will be in action against Sisonkhe at Mayaluka Stadium on Saturday, kick-off 3pm are second on 46 points.
Meanwhile, all eyes will be on the Mbabane derby where Mbabane Swallows will face rivals, Mbabane Highlanders on Sunday at Mavuso Sports Centre, kick-off 3pm.
Young Buffaloes will face Rangers in an earlier kick-off in the double header fixtures.
Green Mamba will be up against Madlenya at Simunye Sports Ground. Match to start at 2:30pm with Moneni Pirates hosting Illovo at Mkhuzweni Technical Centre, kick-off 2:30pm.
