Africa-Press – Eswatini. Each Liswati has a role he or she can play in improving the country’s economy, in order to fulfill the His Majesty King Mswati III’s ‘Nkwe’ directive.
This was said by Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini, who reminded the nation at large to play their roles in making sure that Eswatini improved its economy. The premier believes that each person in this country has a role he or she can play in improving lives of people who live in this country.
He said employers and employees had to come together and understand that both had to work for a common purpose – to improve their production. Dlamini encourages workers to ensure that it should be their goal to increase productivity of the organisations for which they worked.
To the employers, the prime minister said they should work together with their employees to ensure that working conditions improved within their work spaces. These acts, the prime minister believes, will go a long way in enticing new foreign investors to start businesses in the country, resulting in new jobs being created, alleviating the unemployment rate in the process.
Emaswati and other people residing in Eswatini are also encourage to ensure that they take good care of tourists. This will help in making sure that the tourists enjoy a pleasant stay in the country, resulting in them telling more people about the beauty of visiting Eswatini. This will also open up many job opportunities in the country.
The prime minister said Government was in a mission of ensuring that the economy of the country improved, under the command of the king, who also spoke sternly against corruption and poverty, during Sibaya in 2023 and when he opened the First and Second Sessions of the 12th Parliament in 2024 and 2025, respectively. The premier reminded Emaswati that no one was going to improve their country for them, as that was their direct responsibility.
