King Mswati Faces Allegations and Media Challenges

Africa-Press – Eswatini. In this country, there are different types of politics, “kune-politiki yase-Mbabane”, politiki yalaba and the internal politics of the institution of the Monarchy.

Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini by virtue of leading Cabinet or Government, is in charge of “le-politiki yaseMbabane” that reports to the institution of the Monarchy.

Even the elected Members of Parliament(MPs) falls under the “politics of Mbabane” according to language used within the royal circles(tintfungo teNgwenyama), nabafika eSigodlweni bahlala phansi and submit to the authority of the Monarch.

But there’s another political circle, the pro-democracy movement or those calling for democracy are referred to as “laba” within the royal circles such when someone is falsely accused of being a member of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) just to destroy him within royalty, “kuvele kutsiwe phela lona Ngwenyama uhamba nalaba”.

Now, let me analyze the conduct of Sihle Dlamini, the King’s Interpreter who is having sleepless nights these days after the emergence of the independent media that reports uncensored news.

Sihle is a member of the politically connected Jesus Calls Worship Centre(JCWC), an alleged religious cabal that managed to manipulate the undemocratic Tinkhundla system to elevate members of the church into strategic positions with intent to loot State resources.

Perhaps let me clarify that, not all members of the JC were elevated by this cabal, some climbed the ladder because they qualify or deserve to be in the higher corporate or political positions.

Therefore,I don’t want to paint everyone within the JC church with the same brush because we have decent people who “genuinely go to church to worship God only to be led by political vultures like King’s Interpreter Sihle Dlamini”.

But after the castration of the eSwatini media, King Mswati was relying on those around him for information and these thieves managed to isolate the King with lies.

Indeed, the alleged thieves next to Mswati would lie to him consistently, just to control and influence his decisions particularly when seeking to destroy other people.

But the King is now able to take his cellphone or iPad and read news online without relying on the political vultures next to him, he is also able to analyse public opinion regarding his leadership.

Sihle Dlamini is therefore very angry to note that the King sometimes question him and other thieves based on information published by the independent media.

Well, let me warn Sihle Dlamini and all the political vultures next to Mswati that personally, I know the types of politics in this country “nalena yase-Bukhosini politiki yemanga ngiyayati particularly lena yekubhoca bantfu kutoba ngatsi benyanya iNkhosi nabo benyanywa yi-Nkhosi”.

Mswati is fully aware that this country is not democratic, it’s just that the current Tinkhundla undemocratic system is working in favour of his interests as a King on the Throne.

But when it comes to information, there’s absolutely no way a Head of State could appreciate being fed with lies particularly, after realizing that those around him has been lying to control and influence his decisions.

No country can thrive without independent journalists and indeed, the independent media is and, should not be a political tool against the King but, an institution seeking to promote transparency and accountability in the public administration.

Independent journalism is not about political romance, we have duty to report what makes political thieves uncomfortable.

King Mswati is working or cooperating very well with the independent media these days, he employed a Spokesperson who is very professional and engaging, Percy Simelane responds to questionnaire timely, as a journalist himself, he fully understands that there’s a deadline in the newsroom.

It is therefore, surprising to see political thieves like Sihle Dlamini spending money stolen from public coffers in an effort to fight the independent media, bashiswa yini bo-Sihle baphekugcuma-gcuma kangaka!!!.
