Mlawula Campfire Festival Launches Shuttle Survey

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Festival organizers consider shuttle service to ease transport for attendees across Eswatini. The Mlawula Campfire Festival has announced a new initiative to enhance the attendee experience by introducing a potential shuttle service for this year’s highly anticipated event. Organizers have launched a survey to gauge interest in the service, which aims to provide festival-goers with a convenient and stress-free transport option.

The shuttle would operate from key collection points in Mbabane, Ezulwini, Matsapha, Manzini, and Simunye, making travel to the festival easier for attendees from across the country. To participate, patrons are encouraged to complete the survey form available online.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 16:00hrs, and organizers are urging all interested parties to register their interest before the cut-off time. The feedback will play a critical role in determining the feasibility and demand for the shuttle service.

Speaking on the initiative, Mzwandile Ntshangase, Business Development and Marketing Manager for ENTC, Mlawula Campfire Festival, said:

“Our goal has always been to make the Mlawula Campfire Festival an accessible and enjoyable experience for everyone. By exploring the possibility of a shuttle service, we are addressing one of the biggest concerns for attendees, transport. This survey will help us understand the demand and provide a solution that makes attending the festival easier and more enjoyable.”

This year’s festival will run from September 26 to 28, 2025, at the breathtaking Siphiso Campsite within Mlawula Nature Reserve. Known for its unique fusion of music, nature, and adventure, the event continues to grow in popularity, attracting outdoor enthusiasts and culture lovers alike. The 2025 lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, with performances from top acts including Sol Phenduka and DJ Crooks.

Organized by the Eswatini National Trust Commission (ENTC), the Mlawula Campfire Festival is a celebration of nature, music, and community spirit. Now in its 6th edition, the festival not only provides a platform for local artists but also promotes tourism in Eswatini’s natural reserves. Guests can look forward to a vibrant mix of activities such as camping, hiking, glamping, and cultural exhibitions, all set against the serene backdrop of Mlawula’s wilderness.
