Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini Intellectual Property Office (EIPO), under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Trade, has officially invited local designers to showcase their talent in the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) 50th Anniversary Logo Design Competition. The winner of the competition will receive a prize of approximately E17 320.

This invitation follows a recent Masterclass training attended by Eswatini’s local design and branding practitioners, which focused on creating brands that have significance and impact. The training, led by branding experts Dr Thebe Ikalafeng and Dr Mclean Sibanda, aimed to equip designers with principles and skills to create logos that meaningfully represent clients and stakeholders of the EIPO. There is hope and excitement that participants will apply these principles in their work.

The competition is open to all citizens of ARIPO member states, and local designers are particularly encouraged to take part. By participating, creatives can contribute to shaping the visual identity of this landmark milestone celebrating 50 years of ARIPO’s role in the regional protection of intellectual property.

Accompanying the announcement are detailed guidelines and conditions for entering the competition. For clarification or further information, designers can contact the EIPO at 7685 2677, or access the guidelines via the ARIPO website: ARIPO Logo Competition Guidelines.

The announcement was issued by Dr Celucolo Dludlu, Registrar of Intellectual Property. This is a prime opportunity for local creatives to contribute to a milestone celebration and demonstrate the power of Eswatini creativity on a regional platform.

Local designers are encouraged to enter the ARIPO 50th Anniversary Logo Competition, apply skills from a recent branding Masterclass, and compete for E17 320 while contributing to the organization’s regional milestone celebration.
