Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini’s undisputed ladies’ pool champion, Ncobile Dlamini, affectionately known as Sncobesh, has made an impassioned appeal for support as she prepares to represent the country at an international tournament in Zambia this November.
Dlamini, who has reigned as the National Ladies Pool Champion for the past three years and captains the national women’s pool team, says this event will not only give her the chance to showcase her talent on a bigger stage but also help inspire more women to take up the sport.
“I’m kindly asking donations or sponsorship for the upcoming tournament that will be held in Zambia end of November. It does not matter how much it us, any amount will really make a different”.
The reigning champion is appealing for sponsorships and donations of any size to assist with travel, accommodation, and participation costs. In return, she has promised that sponsors’ brands will be prominently displayed during the tournament.
Her call for support also highlights broader issues—youth engagement in sports, empowerment of women athletes, and the professionalization of Blackball in Eswatini.
