Three Local Msmes Gain Momentum after EITF 2025

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Three local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Eswatini Coffee, Beef Boys, and Scoops n Giggles, are celebrating new business opportunities, increased brand visibility, and renewed confidence after participating in the 2025 Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) held earlier this month.

Speaking for their business, Olwethu Du Pont of Eswatini Coffee said the fair “opened doors to connect with potential buyers, hotel groups, and cafés eager to stock our products.” Similarly, Priscilla Verster of Beef Boys added that the exposure “strengthens stability for local cattle farmers and safeguards job security for our team.” Reflecting on the experience, Zandile Mabaso of Scoops n Giggles noted that participating “was a great honor and helped us attract new clients.

The entrepreneurs were also thrilled to host Prime Minister His Excellency Russell Mmiso Dlamini and Cabinet Ministers at their stalls, providing a unique chance to showcase their products and share their business journeys.

EU Programme Officer Luis Miguel Pascoal commented: “These success stories reflect the creativity and resilience of Eswatini’s entrepreneurs. When small businesses thrive, communities thrive. The EU remains committed to supporting platforms that provide local businesses with the visibility and connections they need to grow, create jobs, and drive sustainable development in Eswatini.”

These success stories demonstrate how Eswatini’s entrepreneurs are turning opportunities into tangible growth, jobs, and stronger communities.

This initiative is part of the ‘Eswatini: Promoting Growth Through Competitive Alliances’ programme, implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in partnership with the EU and the Eswatini Government to support small farmers, entrepreneurs, and artisans in export led growth.

Three local MSMEs, Eswatini Coffee, Beef Boys, and Scoops n Giggles leveraged the 2025 Eswatini International Trade Fair to secure new business leads, enhance brand visibility, and build confidence in their growth potential, demonstrating the strength and creativity of Eswatini’s small businesses.
