Africa-Press – Eswatini. Tanele Magagula, the Hhohho Regional Member of Parliament(MP) allegedly defrauded an elderly member of her church-the Salvation Explosion International Ministries South African branch, about five hundred thousand Rands(R500,000.00), pension promising her miracles.
The Regional MP who doubles as “uMkhokheli” is alleged to have borrowed the money from the elderly member and subsequently told her that, she must not demand it back as great success miracles were coming her way and therefore, demanding the money would obstruct or stop the miracles.
But the MP subsequently engaged in a verbal showdown with Fikile Nkambule, a daughter of the elderly woman who after realizing that, uMkhokheli was taking advantage of “Gogo”, demanded the money back resulting to the MP thretening the daughter of the elderly.
As a result, a South African court issued an interim order on Thursday, stopping the MP from assaulting, insulting and threatening Nkambule.
But the MP is not new to such controversies involving money, even in eSwatini she stands accused of defrauding people and her cases were widely reported.
