Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade has announced the successful closure of the call for entries for the 2025 Eswatini Quality Awards (EQA), confirming a strong national commitment to quality and excellence.

The campaign drew an impressive total of 42 entries from a wide spectrum of organizations and individuals.

The EQA is a flagship initiative coordinated through the Ministry’s Regulatory and Quality Infrastructure Development (RQID) Department. Since its inception, the Awards have become a cornerstone in promoting a culture of excellence across Eswatini’s public and private sectors, celebrating outstanding achievements in quality management, product innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Diverse Participation and Commitment to Excellence

Entries for the 2025 edition were received from a diverse pool of participants, including manufacturing firms, service providers, educational institutions, and public sector entities. This strong interest is seen as a clear sign that Eswatini’s private and public sectors are embracing the culture of quality as a key driver of national competitiveness and sustainable development. The continued upward trend in participation reflects the increasing value placed on quality as a vital component of sustainable development and national competitiveness.

Evaluation and Commitment to International Standards

The rigorous evaluation and adjudication process for the 2025 Awards will begin in October 2025, culminating in the Awards Ceremony scheduled for the first week of November.

Individual excellence in quality promotion
