Africa-Press – Eswatini. Ensure Insurance Brokers demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility during the Insurance and Risk Management Leadership Dinner 2025, held at the Happy Valley Hotel, by supporting three organizations that care for people with medical needs and other vulnerabilities.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, En-Sure presented financial donations totaling E100 000, distributed as follows: Swaziland Hospice at Home E40 000, Chershire Homes E30 000 and Hope House E30 000. The cheques were handed over by the CEO, Lovemore Vilane.
The beneficiaries were recognized for their long-standing service in providing care and comfort to people living with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and other health-related challenges. Speaking during the presentation, Gigi Reid from Ensure said CSR is about recognizing the broader impact of corporate actions beyond profits.
“CSR is about giving back to the communities that support us, protecting the environment that sustains us, and treating people with fairness and respect,” Reid said. “When businesses act responsibly, they build trust, strengthen their brands, and create long-term value for society.”
She added that the selected organizations were chosen because their work continues to bring hope and relief to those in need. “We have seen the effect of their interventions in our communities,” she said. “Tonight, we honor them for the care and compassion they continue to show.”
The donations were presented during the inaugural dinner, which also celebrated leadership and innovation in the insurance and risk management industry. The gesture reflected En-Sure’s belief that meaningful growth must include giving back to the communities that make business possible.
As champagne glasses were raised in celebration, the evening closed on a note of gratitude and optimism, a reminder that resilience in business also means compassion in service.
