Africa-Press – Eswatini. Velaphi Mamba, the Treasurer General of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) and highly regarded eSwatini human rights defender has called for the reinstatement of the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Tribunal to hold member States including eSwatini accountable amid killing of innocent civilians.
The human rights defender was addressing the Pan African Parliament(PAP) at Midrand-Johannesburg last week, he called for the establishment of mechanisms to hold member States accountable for violating human rights.
“We can’t allow a continent where the people are expendables, they are killed without consequence, these are people”, he said.
The Pan African Parliament(PAP) Special Session addressed by Mamba was discussing the escalating military coups in the African continent.
