Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Honourable Minister for Natural Resources and Energy, HRH Prince Lonkhokhela, has returned from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following a high-level engagement aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
According to information from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy, the Minister attended the prestigious Future Minerals Forum, a global platform that brings together government leaders, industry experts and investors to discuss sustainable mineral development and energy transition. On the margins of the forum, HRH Prince Lonkhokhela held strategic meetings with officials from the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as representatives of Saudi Aramco, the country’s national oil company.
Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in key areas of mutual interest, including energy security, infrastructure development, strategic petroleum reserves, and opportunities for technical collaboration and investment. The engagements reflected a shared commitment to building long-term partnerships that promote sustainable economic growth, regional trade and resilience in energy supply.
