Africa-Press – Eswatini. A total of 11 players will not be available for their respective teams over the weekend as they have been nabbed by the infamous yellow card rule.

The most affected team is Madlenya, who have been dealt a huge blow as they will be without the services of key four players in their match against Correctional Services side Green Mamba on Sunday at Mavuso Sports Centre.

These are captain Lucky Gamedze, Sithembiso Msibi, Dumsani Dlamini and Mfundo Simelane. The players accumulated their third yellow cards in the last round of league fixtures.

This is in accordance to Article 9.2 (1.1) of the 2022 – 2023 MTN Rules and Regulations.

This was confirmed by Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Football Manager Petros Vilakati when releasing the list of suspended players ahead of Week 10 games.

Other suspended players from the elite league are Mbabane Swallows midfielder Neliswa ‘Tiger’ Dlamini, who will miss the clash against his former team Manzini Wanderers at the Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday.

Illovo’s Sibongiseni Dlamini will miss this weekend’s match.

Nsingizini Hotspurs will also be without Tanaka Chinyahara Mphumuzo and Mayibongwe Mabuza when they take on Moneni Pirates.

The Buccanners will be minus their captain and long-serving defender Menzi ‘Magawugawu’ Simelane.

Another player who is suspended is Rangers defender Albert Nkosana.

In the MTN National First Division (NFD) one player in Malanti Chiefs midfielder Senzo Dlamini will not be available for his team this weekend.
