It was not stated in the document which firm was procured to provide services for the project.

Competing

The two companies were competing with Backor Group (Pty) LTD and CYB-SAB (Pty) LTD for the tender. The total evaluated score for the above mentioned companies were revealed in the tender document and it was indicated that CYB-SAB (Pty) LTD scored below 65 per cent for the tender. Backor Group (Pty) LTD scored 78.47 per cent, thus making Summertime (Pty) LTD and ACDC Eswatini (Pty) LTD favourites for the tender.

Approved

EEC was the procuring entity for the tender, which was approved by the authority of the board. ESPPRA requested the unsuccessful bidder to submit an application for review with the agency within 10 working days. “All tenderers which submitted bids are hereby notified that a period of 10 working days is hereby allowed for submission of any application for review,” said ESPPRA. The agency also mentioned that the tender did not constitute a contract.
