25 JUNIOR POLICE OFFICERS GRADUATE AS SUPERVISORS

Africa-Press – Eswatini. It was joy and happiness for 25 junior police officers on Friday last week, as they took part in a graduation ceremony, marking the successful completion of a three-month Junior Supervisory Skills Development Course.

The event took place at Matsapha Police Academy. Addressing the graduates was Senior Assistant Commissioner Vusi Gama, who represented the Acting National Commissioner, Lydia Dlamini, addressed the graduates. Gama warned the graduates on how they were expected to treat people, especially now that they were given knowledge on managerial skills.

“All people, regardless of class, must be treated equally, your loyalty and dedication to the police service is unquestionable, and I urge you to handle all reported cases efficiently and effectively,” Gama stated.

The course, which was attended by police officers from all regions of the country, included six female graduates. The graduating officers were awarded certificates for their successful completion of the course.

Constable Thandeka DLAMINI expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the course, remarking that although the course had been demanding, it had also been gratifying. She also conveyed her eagerness to apply the skills and knowledge she had acquired during course to her future.

The closing ceremony was held at the Matsapha Police Academy, with family members and senior police officers in attendance. The graduates will now return to their respective work stations, equipped with the skills and knowledge to serve their communities with excellence.
