Africa-Press – Eswatini. Bongani Gamedze, the Malkerns Police Station Desk Officer who allegedly sabotaged an attempted murder case involving Lwazi Mavuso is now vigorously working towards ensuring that justice prevails in the matter.
Lwazi Mavuso, a student at Eswatini Christian Medical University (EMCU) was allegedly attacked by his uncle Gugu Mavuso,an employee at the University Of Eswatini(UNESWA).
On Thursday morning during an interview,Mavuso said after the press published an article exposing that Malkerns Police Station Desk Officer Bongani Gamedze was allegedly tempering with evidence and sabotaging the case, the top cop arrived at the University the following day to engage him on the matter.
“After the press released the article on my attempted murder case, the Desk Officer arrived at the Christian Medical University where I am student the following morning, and we went to Mbabane Government Hospital to collect the medical report. The matter might go to court anytime from now,” said the University student who was allegedly brutally attacked by his uncle.
It has been disclosed that Gamedze was pressured by the Malkerns Police Station Commander to urgently work on the attempted murder case.
