Africa-Press – Eswatini. Capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders boss Chief Ally Kgomongwe has sent a stern warning to their opponents ahead of the Ingwenyama Cup semi-finals match today.

The ‘Black Bull’ is heading into the encounter with the Birds at Somhlolo National Stadium, needing nothing but a victory in order to make it to the finals.

Kgomongwe, who invited the team to Pretoria for a one-week camp, said they were masterminding victory over Swallows.

“We are going to win‚ I really believe that in my heart‚” he said.

“My players are prepared‚ that’s why they feel so relaxed going into this game. Most of the work has been on the mental aspect,” he assured.

Kgomongwe said the players were not ready mentally when they arrived in SA, but they had to help them mentally and tactically.

“We haven’t done that much physical stuff, and we have worked on our strengths and not weaknesses. I can safely say we are better than Swallows,” he added.

Kgomongwe said the spirit was now high among his players and they were looking forward to the match, where they would definitely secure a win. He is was happy that the game will be played at Somhlolo National Stadium. “We take Somhlolo as our home ground and remember this is where we won the Charity Cup.

The players will have even space to express themselves because the pitch is bigger there.”

He said statistics also proved that they were better than Swallows.

“We are aiming to win the match in 90 minutes. I know what am talking about because we have done all the necessary preparations for this match.” Kgomongwe is hoping the players will demonstrate fair-play inside the field of play.

“Fans are in for a football treat as, only if the players would not be rough to each other. If this will be the case, then we will easily beat Swallows.”

He then invited members of the public to come in their numbers to watch a great match.

He said this was the biggest match in Eswatini and Highlandes would show everyone that they were better than Swallows.

“I have a good feeling, we will beat Swallows. I will not predict the score but we will win in 90 minutes.”
