Africa-Press – Eswatini. Army Commander Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze secretly crossed the border to Mozambique amid tension within the Executive Command of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF).
The Army Commander crossed the border on Thursday and came back on Saturday according to information sourced from the Home Affairs Immigration Systems, he declined to comment when asked to clarify the purpose of the trip.
But the Army Commander rushed to Mozambique a few days after top military officer Major Peter Olly Nyirenda released a book exposing the Commander’s alleged involvement in corruption and maladministration.
The Army Commander stands accused of dividing the Army through corruption, nepotism, favoritism and unleashing armed soldiers to physically assault other Generals thus undermining State security.
