Africa-Press – Eswatini. MTN Premier League strong challengers Mbabane Swallows players have been promised a boost of E500 each as winning bonuses for the remaining matches.
With three matches to go before the 2023/24 season ends, the capital city giants are perched at the summit of the log standings with 46 points.
Sources close to the matter revealed that the financial boost has been injected by one of main sponsors as a way to motivate the players in the team’s quest to challenge for honours.
This, therefore means the Matsapha-based company will spend over E5 000 per game on the players. The figure excludes the technical bench and team doctors. It must be mentioned that the incentives were introduced by the management committee recently as the team is on target to win their last six matches.
