Africa-Press – Eswatini. In what will come as sweet melody to Young Buffaloes, their coach will be attached with South Africa’s DStv Premier League outfit SuperSport United.
Initially, it was reported that the MTN National First Division champions Rangers coach Mthunzi Ginindza would get the one-week attachment alongside his Green Mamba counterpart Ernest Mavuso. However, it has been decided that the opportunity should be given to coaches of Eswatini envoys in the 2023/24 Confederation of African Football (CAF) inter-club tournaments. This means that Green Mamba coach who will represent the country in the CAF Champions League will be represented by Ernest Mavuso, while Buffaloes will have their assistant Coach, Sabelo Mnisi, on attachment.

This was confirmed by FIFA-accredited Agent, Dingane Maduma, who facilitated the attachment. “The reason this opportunity has been given to Buffaloes is because the NFD coach cited personal reasons beyond his control. It was then resolved in the group of coaches that the CAF Confederation Cup representative should go,” said Maduma. He said Buffaloes availed Mnisi because he was part of the coaching seminars that were held via zoom, which are normally chaired by the SuperSport United mentor, Gavin Hunt. The two local mentors left the country on Mnday. The attachment started yesterday. It is expected to end on Friday. During their stay, they will rub shoulders with the three-time Premier Soccer League winning coach in Hunt and learn some of the modern –day tactics that they will plough back to their respective sides.
