Africa-Press – Eswatini. There will be plenty of meat during Mbabane Highlanders’ big party as two cows will be slaughtered. The capital city giants will be celebrating the registration of the club as a company on Saturday at Ezulwini.
Team Director Chief Ally Kgomongwe was offered 80 per cent shares while the patrons and supporters share 20 per cent. Supporters The team’s patrons, legends, players and supporters are expected to grace the occasion.
Highlanders Public Relations Officer Mandla Madonsela confirmed that meat will be plenty and invited the team faithful to come in their numbers. “We are looking forward to the big day on Saturday where a number of activities will be taking place. We invite the team’s loyal supporters to come in their numbers. We are still finalising a venue around Ezulwini and if goes well, we will have invited guests on the day,” he said.
On another note, Madonsela said the team’s replica shirts were already available. Replicas “We are happy to announce that the replicas will be available on Saturday at a cost of E400. We want to paint the stadiums black and white during our matches. Mine is just to urge the fans to buy the replicas. We will also be selling them on Saturday,” he said.
Meanwhile, the black and white outfit will face Royal Leopard in the first round title decider at a date to be confirmed by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE). The first round carrot is E200 000.
