Africa-Press – Eswatini. An athletics team to represent the country in the CAA-SR Relays Championships in Gaborone, Botswana will be selected on Saturday (February 8, 2025).
The team will be selected from relays and sprints events including the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m (Men & Women), 4x100m, 4x400m, Mixed/Medley Relays. This was announced by Athletics Eswatini (AE) that is keen to see athletes coming in their numbers in the competitions.
“Attention all athletes and clubs athletics, Eswatini Athletics is thrilled to announce the Senior Relays Qualifier, your chance to shine and represent Eswatini at the CAA-SR Relays Championships in Gaborone, Botswana. This is your opportunity to showcase your talent and compete for a spot on the national team. Don’t miss out,” reads a statement from AE.
The venue for the event is yet to be confirmed.
AE had already hosted two track and field competitions being the first and second qualifiers for the Track and Field under-18 for the African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region-5.
The Athletics Eswatini is yet to announce the team that will represent the country in the competitions to be held in Namibia on dates yet to be confirmed.
