Nsingizini Hotspurs have had one of the best starts to the current campaign for any new Premier League side, and they will want to continue doing that against a tricky Manzini Sea Birds side.
Hotspurs will be high on confidence after they pulled off an impressive victory against Mbabane Swallows, which saw them prove their credentials. Five wins, one draw and one loss so far heading into the match is enough to say they go into the match as favourites for some pundits.
Boasting a young team which isn’t afraid to get on the ball and run with it as Nsingizini could be a handful for the Manzini-based side. Coach Gerald Phiri has made it clear that they want to finish at the top half of the table after the first round of fixtures and a win this afternoon will bring them a step closer to that target.
On the other hand, Manzini Sea Birds are yet to taste defeat this season so this afternoon’s match will be a real test for the hub based side. Their opponents have already caused a few upsets this season, having recently beaten capital city giants Mbabane Swallows. Eight games into the season and Izinyoni Zolwandle, as they are also known, have only two wins and six draws.
They have also managed to score quite a few goals this season but have conceded a lot as well and will need to be secure at the back.
Coach Christian Thwala will know that if his charges can get the win today, it will not only be their third win of the season but will show that they too are not side to be taken lightly.
