Mancoba Khumalo,the Minister of Commerce,Industry and Trade is currently in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, attending the Annual Investment Meeting held under the theme “The Investment Paradigm Shift: Future Investment Opportunities to Foster Sustainable Economic Growth, Diversity and Prosperity”.
According to eSwatini Government online platforms,on the sidelines of the meeting, the Minister met with officials from the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“Discussions centred around potential investment in mutual areas of interest and value chain creation inclusive of the MSME sector as a catalyst for economic development and growth. The Minister and his delegation also attended a discussion on “Future Cities: Digital Transformation: Integrating Innovative Technologies.He is also expected to attend other sessions Investment Facilitation; How a New Agreement can help grow FDI Flows and Prosperity; SMEs Investment Challenges and Opportunities; Implementing Smart Businesses through Innovations and the Digital Economy for SMEs, amongst others,” reads the Government online report.
