Defense Principal Secretary(Ps) Prince Sicalo Allegedly Defrauded Thousands of Rands by his Military Bodyguards, Suspects would use some ATM Cards to Withdraw Money for themselves

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prince Sicalo, the Defense Principal Secretary(PS) was allegedly defrauded thousands of Rands by his military bodyguards.

Information suggests that, the Prince owns various bank accounts linked to his more than five(5) cellphones, it is alleged that, all accounts have large sums of money.

“So the soldiers, some who started escorting him at a very young age, had realized that, whenever he gives them his ATM card to buy food or anything for him, he doesn’t check the inContact because the cellphones are more than five(5). They would then use the cards to buy their own items or withdraw ‘small’ amounts like ten thousand Rands(R10,000.00) every-time they are on duty. The various accounts have millions and some of the cellphones linked to these accounts are not regularly used by the Prince to check in-Contacts.So they would use an ATM card linked to a cellphone that they know he hardly use ngoba lamakhadi abehlala lamotweni, abatfume-ke bahambe bayomtsengela, baphindze babuye balibeke. Bamcedzile for years angaboni, bakhe tindlu balobola”, said a soldier very close to the Prince.

The six(6) bodyguards who are allegedly implicated in defrauding the King’s first-born son were on Friday(13th September 2024) allegedly driven to Nkoyoyo Palace, for what was described as a refresher course and, it is not clear if “this was a way to remove them permanently next to the Prince”.

Army Spokesperson Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

The names of the implicated bodyguards are known but cannot be revealed as the matter has not been formally reported to the police but is being dealt with within the army and royal circles.
