Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has threatened to investigate Ministers who leaked information to the independent media and by so doing, it is worsening the already deteriorating division within Cabinet.
But before that, the PM disclosed that there was a cabal controlling even Parliament and, shared that information to the media claiming the information was obtained by his State Intelligence.
We later gathered that, he was actually referring to his Zimbabwean fugitives who were never trained on intelligence but were able to trick the PM and walk away with over R2million public funds.
Now, if the Prime Minister was tricked by such stupid fugitives, who told him that he has the intellectual capacity to investigate Cabinet Ministers and what made him to source “foreign intelligence if he believes our State intelligence is capable to investigate”?.
Perhaps let me declare that, I have sources in Cabinet and all of them are not stupid, you will never find anything linking them to Zwemart.
It’s actually the Prime Minister who is well documented, leaking State information, he told the media that there’s a cabal and if that was not leaking information, then I don’t know what do we call it.
Leaking information could be done officially or through the back door, it’s the Prime Minister who leaked information and confirmed that, there’s division inside Cabinet and as journalists, we have previously interacted with Prime Ministers and we have always known that, division or disagreements always exist inside Cabinet.
But no sitting Prime Minister ever confirmed officially, to the media that, he was leading a divided Cabinet, some of them would share such information to us in confidence and “off-the-record”.
Information shared to us by public figures “in confidence” or off-the-record, it’s the type of information that cannot be published and attributed officially to the person who shared it.
It’s actually a stupid leader who publicly confirms division within his team but a wise one covers the weaknesses and work towards reconciliation and team building.
It was first reported that, the PM banged the table(kushaya litafula) when addressing Information Minister Savannah Maziya but, instead of addressing the Minister professionally, he opted to undermine a woman and exposed his political immaturity.
When we grew-up, we were taught how to handle women during heated arguments whether at home or during meetings, you don’t act like Russell Mmiso Dlamini when a woman challenges you, he demonstrated immaturity and the lack of leadership skills.
All the Cabinet Ministers were appointed by the King because he saw some capabilities in them, some were elected by the people as Members of Parliament(MPs) and you cannot therefore as the PM, think you are clever than all of them and went as far as thretening to investigate them.
In conclusion, let me warn the PM against abusing the Anti Corruption Commission(ACC) against Ministers who disagree with him, unleashing investigators to spy their bank accounts.
I remember publishing a picture of investor Mobeen Meldi, that picture was only in Mobeen and Prime Minister’s cellphones, it’s me who knows how I managed to get hold of those pictures.
The PM must forget if he thinks by thretening Cabinet Ministers, he will hide information and, he must also understand that, there are many ways of sourcing information.
