Africa-Press – Eswatini. DR Rebecca Malope is coming to Eswatini after a long time not performing in the country.

The queen of gospel is billed to perform at the ‘Holy Ghost Crossover’ party on December 31 at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.

This was revealed by Kufeziwe Communications PRO Nomfundo Makhubu yesterday.

Makhubu said preparations were already underway for the event which will begin from 6pm to 6am.

Dr Malope has confirmed her booking and stated that she was excited to connect with her fans in Eswatini

“I am coming for the Holy Ghost Party Festival. I can’t wait to meet my fans and gospel music lovers in Eswatini,” said the gospel star.

“I’m promising the best of myself since I’m coming with my full band. I encourage all the Swazi gospel music lovers to come in numbers so we have a good moment in the presence of God,” she added.

Malope has spent over 30 years ministering the Word of the Lord and graced several stages with her sparkling personality and her incredible voice.

New music trends come and go, and styles change, but Malope remains the rock of the ages with her gospel music. ‘The Holy Ghost Crossover’ party is set to bring big names in the gospel music industry both in Eswatini and South Africa.

Makhubu said other artists that would share the stage with Malope would be Jumbo, Sipho Makhabane, Shongwe neKhuphuka, Ndawonye Christ Worshippers, Shiba and The Travellers, Maphatsindvuku and Thinah Zungu, to name a few.

She said over 15 artists would perform at the festival.

Tickets are already available at E100 at all MTN outlets and MoMo Market Place.

Malope had earlier announced her retirement yet she still finds time to connect with her fans and do music performances.

Early this year she performed for an Easters live show which was hosted on TikTik South Africa.
