Africa-Press – Eswatini. An investment of E50 billion might be channelled into a large-scale development project at Sisingeni community, under Gege Constituency, in the Shiselweni region, with the potential to create 5 000 jobs.
This was revealed by the Madvonsela Kunene Foundation (MKF) during an investment conference held at The George Hotel on Friday, July 25, 2025. MKF will be working with another company known as World Business Hub, a company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The foundation, which has been active in community development initiatives nationwide, is spearheading business ventures in agriculture, manufacturing, and renewable energy. These projects are designed to promote job creation and skills development, particularly targeting youth and women in rural communities.
Officials at the conference indicated that the proposed initiatives are part of a broader agenda to decentralise economic development. The focus is on historically underserved communities such as Sisingeni, with the intention of accelerating inclusive growth.
The proposal outlines a comprehensive and integrated development plan centred on three core sectors: Infrastructural Development, Smart Farming, and Eco-Tourism.
