Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) is bringing its services closer to the people. This the fund has done by launching a mobile application and a web portal which allows members to make claims and check contribution balances at the comfort of their homes.

The MyENPF App was launched yesterday by the Chief Executive Officer, Prince Lonkhokhela at Happy Valley hotel. The chief executive officer said this was ENPF’s transformation as they had finally delivered on the mandate to make members’ experience extremely exciting.

He said this was not easy as he, together with his team, had sleepless nights, thinking on how they could do better and improve their service offerings to all their stakeholders. “It is through the 2020-2025 Strategic Plan that the Fund became intentional in continually coming up with ways of improving its service to the members.

We are not just looking for better ways, but innovative ways that would be relevant to the current technologies to ensure the best customer experience for the members we serve,” the chief executive officer stated. Prince Lonkhokhela announced the launching of the employee, employer portal and the mobile app.

Explaining about the employee portal, the chief executive officer said this was a web application for members to access services rendered by the fund online. He said this portal was aimed at improving the customers’ experience in various ways.

Services to be accessed through this portal include online claiming whereby members will no longer be required to come to the fund’s service centre to lodge claims, but will be able to do so in the comfort of their space, anytime.

“Members will now be able to view their statements online as well and will be able to update their personal information,” Prince Lonkhokhela stated. He added that to access the portal, members can view the fund’s website and follow the link or could access it through the url mafu.enpf.co.sz.

The chief executive officer said the mobile app offers services similar to the member portal on the member’s mobile phone. He said it is available on both Android and IOS. He explained that members can download the app from Google play for Samsung, Huawei users and from App store for Iphone users, to enjoy ENPF services whenever and wherever they are.

During the launch it was disclosed that there was also a portal developed for employers, the Employer Portal. This portal, according to the chief executive officer, will enable employers to interact with their accounts with the Fund real time.

“On this portal, employers will be able to view their accounts anywhere and at any time. It will also enable employers to submit their completed monthly NPF 200 forms through the portal,” Prince Lonkokhela stated.
