Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini National Trust Commission (ENTC) has revealed their new institutional and departmental sub brand logos.

The entity also revealed their updated website, which now serves as a marketing tool.

The departmental subs that got new logos were Mlawula Nature Reserve, Malolotja Nature Reserve, Mantenga Nature Reserve and cultural village, Magadzavane Lodge, Eswatini National Museum and King Sobhuza II Park.

The launch event was held at King Sobhuza II Park yesterday. It was attended by the ENTC Board chairman Dr Sikhomba Gumbi, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Khangeziwe Mabuza and ENTC staff.

Gumbi said the logos had been developed taking into consideration the significance relevance of each entity with the input of staff and stakeholder.

He said that some of the designs had been used overtime but with the changing times and need for presenting a new vision, it was necessary to rebrand the institution.

“The new logos give ENTC an opportunity to market its products and services, as well re-engineering new interventions to enable growth and self-sustainability,” he said

He explained that these interventions were not insurmountable but required the Board, management and staff together with their stakeholders to make gigantic efforts and work towards achieving the goals they had set for themselves.

“When the Board came into office, it had a clear mandate and instruction to orchestrate transformative development of the organisation and strengthen it towards attainment of its potential and suitability,” said Gumbi. He stated that the Board had set a target of achieving a number of milestones, working with the ministry, management, staff, partners and various stakeholders.

“One of the first assignments was to review the then strategy and then develop a new one. The development of the strategy necessitated a rebranding of the organisation and to change its image,” he said.

Eswatini National Trust Commission (ENTC) acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Thulani Methula said the revised ENTC logo was now different by that it didn’t have boundaries around it and the bird was now free.

He said when revising it, they were also pushed by the number of colours on it as they were making it difficult for the printing of branded work for the commission.

“The limiting of the colours now will assist us cut on the costs of printing as it now only has 10-12 colours,” said Methula.

Methula explained that when revising the logo, the diversity of the commission was a priority as the commission was overlooking different establishments with different purposes.
