Africa-Press – Eswatini. Former Mbabane Highlanders head coach Ernest Mavuso is linked with a move to Tinyosi FC.
This comes after the Lobamba based outfit parted ways with longest serving coach Sifiso’Nuro’Ntibane.

A source close to the matter revealed that Mavuso has been recommended to take over the vacant seat.
Mavuso was recently relieved of his duties by the capital city giants despite leading the black and white ensemble to 10 matches unbeaten in the MTN Premier league.

“Mavuso’s name is top of the list at the team. The directors are expected to soon meet and endorse his name,” the source said.
Tinyosi Chief Executive Officer Nsindiso Tsabedze said he was yet to learn of the news when contacted.

“I haven’t received the news and matters concerning coaches are handled by directors. Nonethlesss, we would like to have a coach of Mavuso’s calibre after the good work which he has done with Highlanders,”

Meanwhile, Mavuso said he was still having a break in football when sought. “I am currently relaxing at home refreshing my mind, maybe I will consider offers during the second round,” he said.

Zimbabwean assistant coach Julius Chakupewa is currently holding the reins at Tinyosi and he is assisted by Timothy ‘Timo’ Mathonsi.
The green and white ensemble will today face-off with Rangers at King Sobhuza II?Stadium.
