ERS AND ENPF LAUNCH JOINT SERVICE CENTRE IN MATSAPHA

Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) and Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) have officially opened a joint service centre in Matsapha, giving emaSwati access to services from both institutions under one roof.

The launch, held at the ERS Matsapha Service Centre on Thursday, was described as a breakthrough partnership aimed at cutting costs, easing access, and improving efficiency for clients.

ERS Commissioner General Brightwell Nkambule said the initiative marked the agency’s vision of being “digitalised, data-driven, with our partners,” stressing that the partnership translated collaboration into “real benefits for the people.”

“This joint service centre demonstrates how collaboration can be translated into real benefits for our clients, greater accessibility, reduced costs, and more efficient service delivery,” Nkambule said.

He noted that Matsapha is one of ERS’s busiest service points, serving more than 40 clients daily and nearly 400 a month during the filing season. “With this partnership, ENPF taps into this vibrant client base, while ERS clients also gain the added convenience of accessing both institutions’ services in one location. It is a win-win for our organizations and, more importantly, for the people we serve,” he said.

Nkambule further revealed that ERS and ENPF were already considering replicating the model across other regions to extend services while sharing operational costs.

He also pointed out that the collaboration comes at a critical time, as the introduction of presumptive tax is expected to increase demand for support services.

The Commissioner General thanked ENPF for its professionalism and foresight, adding: “Together, let us continue to reimagine service delivery, collaborating, innovating, and extending our reach to every corner of this nation.”
