Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini is highly expected to face an increase in food prices and other basic commodities after the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority (ESERA) increased electricity tariff with 13.61%.
The increase, as previously reported, was announced on Tuesday after the ‘kutihhamula’ public consultations, one hundred Rands (R100.00) units will now buy thirty-four (34units).
Businesspeople submitted during the public consultations that, an increase in electricity tariff will force them to increase prices for basic commodities and other services.
