Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini Lifestyle Awards 2025 have officially kicked off with their first-ever media launch, held at the elegant SibaneSami Hotel in Ezulwini. The event brought together members of the media, sponsors, partners, artists, and nominees to witness the unveiling of this year’s sponsors and strategic partners, a major milestone for the growing brand.

Addressing attendees, the founder and director of the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards, Jumbo Khumalo, expressed deep gratitude and optimism for the journey ahead.

“We are truly honored to stand before you today as we unveil some of the biggest organisations in Eswatini’s business landscape as sponsors of this year’s awards. Their endorsement not only validates the importance of our event but also emphasizes their commitment to their corporate social investment,” said Khumalo.

He highlighted that this year’s edition marks a significant step in professionalizing the brand and preparing it for greater growth and recognition.

“Ever since the event started seven years ago, this is our first-ever media launch,” he said. “We believe these synergistic partnerships will multiply the size and magnitude of our event. We have been laying the groundwork to ensure we are equipped to handle the growth that comes with these sponsorships.”

Khumalo also spoke about the strategic rebranding of the event from Jumbo Festival to Eswatini Lifestyle Awards, explaining that the move was designed to expand its reach and identity beyond a single individual.

“The name Jumbo Festival had many limitations, one of them being that it confined the event to me as a person. Now, with the new name, the event is a national treasure. It has its own wings, the sky is its only limitation,” he added.

This year’s sponsors include CNB Marketing & Branding, Jenny Internet, Good Rangers Security, SwaziHost, KOMA, Bluehouse Entertainment, and RoadMaster, a diverse lineup of partners that showcases growing corporate confidence in the brand.

Khumalo took time to thank returning sponsors for their continued support, particularly those who backed last year’s expansion to the Mavuso Trade Centre. He also extended an open invitation to more companies to partner with the awards, noting that sponsoring the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards is “an opportunity to tap into a very rich value chain in marketing and brand exposure.”

The 8th edition of the Eswatini Lifestyle Awards is set to take place on 29 November 2025 at Mavuso Trade Centre. Tickets are priced at E250 (General) and E350 (VIP), available at Movie Zone (The Gables), KaGogo Startups (Mbabane), Sdeez (Manzini), and online at www.thejumbofest.com.

As Khumalo concluded his address, he left the audience inspired with the event’s bold slogan:

“Ladies and gentlemen, see you at the top!”
