Africa-Press – Eswatini. ESWATINI Mobile is playing its part in supporting the arts industry as the company has sponsored E1m towards the Rebirth of Music, Food and Fashion Carnival.
This was revealed by Eswatini Mobile Digital Marketing and Event Coordinator Fezile Dlamini yesterday.
The event slated for November 12, is expected to host over 40 local artists at the Malkerns Country Club starting at 9am.
The local acts will be supported by South African artists such as Young Stunna, Kabza De Small and Senior Oat.
Dlamini stated that Eswatini Mobile wanted to celebrate its numerous milestones with the entire country regardless of the age-group.
“We have decided to sponsor an event that will ensure that families will come out to enjoy a colourful carnival spectacular that has never been experienced in the country,” said Dlamini.
She said on the day, they would offer snack stalls, food stalls, kids’ zone, toys, tall men on stilts, jugglers and a magic wonderland atmosphere as well as many more exciting activities.
“Everyone should be prepared to be blown out of their minds with a unique carnival experience,” she said.
She wished to remind everyone that the Eswatini Music show was not spared from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sponsorship
“Eswatini Mobile through this sponsorship, has realised an opportunity to be part of the rebirth of the Eswatini music scene by providing a bit of work for as many local artists as we can in one festival and on the same day,” she added.
“Eswatini Mobile continues to give away tickets for the event and continues to encourage the public to buy theirs.
Tickets outlets are all Eswatini Mobile outlets and can also be purchased through E-mali,” she said. Early bird tickets are E150, pre-sale tickets cost E200 and VIP E600.
Dlamini said their final line -up would be announced soon.
