Africa-Press – Eswatini. Emmanuel Macron,the French President, has warned that, China might invade and take over Taiwan if Russian President Vladimir Putin “is allowed to seize some parts of Ukraine”.
Taiwan is a self-ruled Chinese Province and President Xi Jinping has been maintaining that, the Island will eventually be re-united with the Mainland China.
President Macron made the speech warning of possible China’s invasion of Taiwan on Friday, the French President was in Singapore as reported by Reuters.
But the China\’s Embassy in Singapore condemned President Emmanuel Macron’s speech saying, comparing the Taiwan issue with the Ukraine issue is \”unacceptable\” as “Taiwan and Ukraine are different in nature and not comparable at all”.
The Chinese Embassy in Singapore further maintained that, Taiwan was entirely an internal affair for China.
Eswatini has diplomatic relations with the Chinese Province and should China invade and take over Taiwan, the tiny Kingdom might be isolated diplomatically and, be forced to negotiate relations with China.
