Africa-Press – Eswatini. Former Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Themba Masuku who was among those who allegedly commanded the shooting and killing of innocent civilians during the recent political unrest,is highly expected to wait for more months without a political appointment after King extended Emabandla term of office.

The former DPM declined to comment about the latest developments.

As reported earlier on Saturday, King Mswati,an absolute Monarch,has extended the term of office for his emaBandla(Governing Councils) for an indefinite period.

This was announced by Attorney General(AG) Sifiso Khumalo through a public notice released on Friday afternoon.

An indefinite period means, members of the Governing Councils will remain in office until the King decides to dissolve them.

The Governing Councils include the King’s Advisory Council(Liqoqo),Ludzidzini Council, Regional Administrators, Land Management Board, Boarder Restoration Committee(BRC), Civil Service Commission(CSC), Human Rights Commission and the Royal Board of Trustees.
