Africa-Press – Eswatini. With determination in her eyes and a vision for a better future, young entrepreneur Faith Dlamini is transforming her retail business in Fonteyn through a E25 000 Revolving Fund loan from the government backed “My SACCO of Choice Kuyenteka” at CODEC in Ezulwini, expanding her operations and improving her livelihood. Faith accessed the fund in 2025 January after learning about it during a soap-making training at Enkhundleni, using the opportunity to turn her small hustle into a growing business.
Standing inside one of her shops, arranging neatly packed goods for customers, Faith reflects on how far she has come. “With the loan I got from Kuyenteka I was able to open another shop and also add stock at my other shop,” she said. “Now I am in a busy place, customers are supporting me, and I can see that my business is growing.”
She explained that joining kuyenteka SACCO requires a once-off membership fee of E1 500, which allows aspiring entrepreneurs to access financial support and savings opportunities. The Kuyenteka Revolving Fund does not give cash directly to beneficiaries. Instead, applicants submit three quotations from suppliers, and the funds are paid straight into the selected supplier’s account. The loan offers up to E25 000, repayable over 12 months at a low interest rate of 1.5 percent.
Through discipline and careful planning, Faith has managed to repay her first loan while sustaining her daily needs from the profits she earns. In a commitment to uplifting others, she has also created employment by hiring two people who now work in her stores, helping them earn an income and support their families.
“Right now I have finished paying the loan, which means I qualify for another one,” she shared. Looking ahead, Faith remains focused on expanding her business and strengthening her impact, proving that dedication and opportunity can turn small beginnings into lasting success.
