Africa-Press – Eswatini. Mbabane Swallows marshals busted a soccer fan who was found selling 100 fraudulent tickets worth about E5 000 before the MTN Premier League double header on Sunday at Mavuso Sports Centre.

The games were between Moneni Pirates versus Young Buffaloes, while the capital city giants hosted Nsingizini Hotspurs.

According to statistics, the double header attracted a crowd of 3 000 fans, and the entrance fee was E50.

Sources claim that the fan was caught before the start of the second match after a tip-off that there was a dubious queue around the Mavuso Sports Centre entrance.

marshals caught the culprit red-handed, where he was questioned and later handed to the Premier League of Eswatini Stadium representatives.

No report was made with the police. “An undisclosed sum of money believed to be from the sale of tickets was also found with the man,” said the source.
