FNB Eswatini has launched its festive season campaign, Swipe for the WIN, giving customers the chance to win a share of E100 000 by swiping their FNB cards at selected retailers across the country. The campaign, which kicked off at Mica Hardware and Spar Matsapha Lifestyle, aims to encourage safe, convenient, and responsible cashless transactions.
Nosizwe Sigwane, FNB Head of Transact and Deposits, said the campaign celebrates the bank’s 30 years of service in Eswatini while promoting a culture of safe spending. “Throughout our 30 years of serving Eswatini, we have always prioritised placing our customers’ needs at the centre of our innovation. Swiping offers convenience, safety, and better control of spending,” she said.
Customers who swipe their cards at any of the 30 participating retailers over the next six weeks stand a chance to win cash back instantly at the till. Sigwane stressed that the retailers are spread across all regions, giving emaSwati from every corner of the country an equal opportunity to win. “As we say in our 30th birthday year, ‘Sitintile Eswatini futsi asiyindzawo.’ Wherever you are, you have a chance to win,” she added.
Early winners have already expressed their excitement. Golfer Raymond Mathonsi, one of the first winners at Spar Matsapha Lifestyle, described the initiative as thoughtful. “It feels good to have free lunch. I swipe all the time, and I love the convenience it brings,” he said.
Nomalungelo Sukati, another winner, said swiping helps her manage her money efficiently. “I wasn’t expecting to win! Swiping helps me save and track my spending. When I use cash, I spend it haphazardly, so this initiative really helps,” she said.
Sigwane said FNB Eswatini will continue offering opportunities to win exciting prizes through the end of the year as it celebrates three decades of impacting the lives of emaSwati.
